T/Sgt. Lawrence Tighe served in the military in The 11th Bombardment Group (The Grey Geese). He enlisted in USAAC on July 18, 1939. Military locations: Wheeler Field, Hickham Field, Southwest Pacific, Pearl Harbor, Midway, and Guadalcanal. The week of Nov 12-19, 1942 at Henderson Field, Guadalcanal the Japanese navy shelled for three days (Nov 12-15) He was discharged July 18, 1945 with the rank of T/Sgt.
