Obituary for Sheridan Garlitz

SHERIDAN GARLITZ Sheridan A. Garlitz, 54, of Frostburg RD 2, died July 29, 1975, at his residence from injuries he sustained in a fall from a porch. Born in Garrett County, Md., he was a son of the late John A. and Ella (Hemming) Garlitz. He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church. Surviving are five sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Beeman, Conneaut, Ohio; Mrs. Barbara Cadwallader, Gilmore, Md.; Mrs. Nellie McKenzie, Frostburg RD 2; Mrs. Virgie McKenzie, Friendsville, Md.; and Mrs. Ora Wiland, Avilton, Md.; five brothers, Clayton Garlitz, Zihlman, Md.; Harry Garlitz, Kitzmiller, Md.; Charles, Ralph and Edward Garlitz, at home; and a number of nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Thursday morning, July 31, in St. Michael's Church. Interment in St. Ann's Cemetery at Avilton. Meyersdale Republican, August 7, 1975
