Wayne Garlitz (Boswell)

BOSWELL, Pa. — Wayne Garlitz, 60, of Boswell, died Saturday, July 29, 2006, at Conemaugh Hospital, Johnstown.

Born May 8, 1946, in Frostburg, he was the son of the late Esco and Flossie (McKenzie) Garlitz.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his twin, Blayne Garlitz.

Mr. Garlitz was a retired truck driver.

Surviving are his wife of 36 years, Helen (Bittinger) Garlitz; two sons, Mark Garlitz and wife Mary, Pocahontas, and Jeff Garlitz and fiancée Lauri, Frostburg; two daughters, Eileen Harkum, Jeannette, and Wanda Garlitz and fiancé Tim, Hooversville; six grandchildren; one sister, Margaret Kenney and husband J. Michael, Frostburg; and one brother, Dale Garlitz and wife Sandra, Eckhart; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Garlitz was cremated in accordance with his wishes.

There will be no visitation or services.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Durst Funeral Home, P.A., Frostburg.
